Poster Design and Program
For this project I was asked to make a poster to encourage people to attend and an accompanying program to help those who did come find their way around union station. When conducting initial research on my target audience, I found that females between the ages of 18-30 , who already had an interest in art, sustainability were the most likely people tp come to an event like this. However, the goal for this project is to attract as many people to the event as possible. With this in mind I tried to evoke some nostalgia, and story with the design. I thought that we might be able to attract a wider audience if I could get the idea across that these objects - much like ourselves - all had a purpose and a story behind them, and that that purpose and story isn't finished, but evolved into something new.

This is the final poster design, and the brochure that goes with it. Because this event has live workshops that you can participate it, I decided to make sure that the brochure could be folded and put into your pocket as you walked around. This brochure folds into quarters, with the map taking up the entire spread on the inside.
